— Network tab
This tab provides network information about the printer.
- Port Timeout
Specifies the amount of time the printer will wait before
it assumes a job received over the port is complete, if it
does not receive an End of Job notification. Valid range
is 5 - 300 seconds.
- Network Speed
Indicates the current speed setting of the network.
- Network Type
Display of network to which the printer is connected.
— Parallel tab
The Parallel tab allows the user to define the Parallel settings
for the printer.
- Enable Port
Check this box to enable the parallel port of the printer.
- PDL
Used to select the page description language default for
jobs being sent over the parallel port to the printer. This
will enable jobs that do not contain an explicit PDL
identifier in the job to be printed in the selected
language.

- Bi-Directional
Enables two-way communication with your printer
through the parallel port. Factory Default: IEEE P1284
nibble mode which allows the printer to send and receive
data/status.
