Do not open the Powerbase. There are no user-serviceable parts
inside the Powerbase. By opening the Powerbase, you risk
electric shock injury. Also, you could void your limited warranty,
damage your Segway PT, and render it unsafe to use.
Do not open the Gearboxes. There are no user-serviceable parts
inside the Gearboxes. You could damage your Segway PT and
render it unsafe to use.
Do not use in hazardous atmospheres. The Segway PT has not
been certified for use in hazardous atmospheres as defined in
NFPA 70, National Electric Code. Hazardous atmospheres are
locations where fire or explosion hazards may exist due to
flammable gases, vapors, liquids, dust, or fibers.
Follow the instructions in the Reference Manual for servicing
your Segway PT.
