Step 10: Securing Your Segway PT

The Segway PT provides a Security function in case you need to
leave your Segway PT unattended. The Security function includes an
alarm and uses the motors to make it difficult to move your
Segway PT.
The best way to discourage tampering with your Segway PT is to
keep it in a secure indoor location with the InfoKey Controller stored
separately. The Security function is intended for use when you remain
in the general area of the Segway PT, and are able to respond to an
alarm. If you must leave your Segway PT unattended in a location
that is not secure, activate the Security function with your InfoKey
Controller and use a lock.
