For your own safety, please read the following instructions:
WARRANTY WARNING: All repairs need to be carried out by a qualified Telstra
technician. Do NOT try to repair or replace any part of your T-Box
it dangerous, but any attempt to open, modify or dismantle your T-Box or its software
will immediately void your warranty, subject to any other rights or remedies that are
available to you under law, which cannot be excluded. See page 58 for details

Before YoU set UP YoUr t-BoX:

• Y our T-Box and its accessories are designed to be used in Australia, inside the home.
• K eep your T-Box and its accessories including any plastic, packaging and
batteries out of reach of children
• O nly use cords and accessories that are provided with or recommended for your T-Box
• A void situations where your T-Box could fall, be dropped or bumped
• K eep your T-Box and its accessories sheltered from any heat source, humidity,
dust and direct sunlight
• D o not place your T-Box or its accessories near an electromagnetic source
• Y our T-Box must be placed on a firm and flat surface to avoid any possibility of it
falling or being bumped
• L eave at least 3cm of space around and above your T-Box, to ensure adequate
ventilation for cooling
• N ever obstruct the ventilation openings on your T-Box with things like
newspapers, tablecloths or curtains, as it may overheat
• D on't put anything on top of your T-Box
• N ever attempt to insert anything inside your T-Box, apart from using the USB
ports and plugs
• N ever put any open flame, such as a lit candle, on or near your T-Box or its accessories
• K eep your T-Box and accessories in a moderate temperature range – only use
the T-Box in a temperature range of 0°C to 45°C
• P rotect your T-Box and its accessories from spills and splashes, and never put
any vases or drinks on top of the equipment
• M ake sure you unplug the power supply to your T-Box before you connect any
audio, video or network equipment
