Contacts (Hebrew)

You can save up to 250 names and up to 6 telephone numbers per name. When your display
language is set to Hebrew, you have two methods for entering a contact name. Using the multi-
tap method, you can press a dialpad key multiple times to get a desired character. Using the
predictive text entry method lets the phone predict the entry you want to make after you press a
few dialpad keys. The Add Contact screen shows a Letter softkey when multi-tap is enabled
and shows a Word softkey when predictive text entry is enabled.
Note:
If you press the Contacts button and nothing happens, your system administrator has
disabled the button and its functionality.

Adding a new contact (Hebrew only)

You can add up to six numbers for a contact. Selecting "handle" as a type allows you to track the
contact's telephone presence, for example, not logged in, logged in, in use, or sending all calls
to another number. In Hebrew, one of two text input modes is available to enter the contact
name — multi-tap (the default) allows you to enter a series of characters, while predictive lets
the phone predict the desired entry as you press dialpad keys. The Add Contact screen shows
a Letter softkey when multi-tap is enabled and shows a Word softkey when predictive text
entry is enabled. Press that softkey to toggle from one mode to another.

• If multi-tap mode is enabled, you can press a key multiple times to get to
the desired character in the contact name. As you press a specific key, the
display's prompt line shows all Hebrew characters mapped to that key, to
assist you in character selection. Enter the name using the dialpad. If you
want to enter the name in English format, first press the Abc softkey to
toggle from Hebrew and follow
• If predictive mode is enabled, the phone predicts and displays a likely word
as you type. In some cases, more than one word might be predicted and
you can press * or # to display the alternate next or previous predicted
word. In either mode, the guidelines that follow apply.
