BEFORE THE FIRST USE

Before the first use wipe the case (1) and
panels (6) with soft wet cloth. Let the toaster
dry out.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Place your toaster upon a dry, smooth and
plain horizontal surface.
2. Plug in to the electric mains with the same
voltage as indicated on the toaster case. The
"On" indicator (4) will light. In a couple of
minutes the green "Ready" indicator (5) will
light, which means that your toaster is ready
for use.
3. When toaster is ready, open it, oil the panels (6) with marga-
rine or other cooking fat, and place a slice of bread on the
lower panel. Use slices of square shape with 1 cm thickness.
4. Place stuffing upon the first slice of bread and cover it with
another one. It is recommended to butter the upper surface of
the second slice to avoid it burning.
5. Carefully lower the toaster lid pushing it lightly, and fix the
latch (3). If you should use too much force to close the toaster,
then your sandwich is too thick. Use less stuffing or thinner
slices of bread.
6. Your sandwich will be ready in 2-3 minutes. Open your sand-
wich toaster and gently take the sandwich off using a wooden
(or heat-resisting plastic) spatula. To avoid damaging the non-
stick coating, never use metallic objects (fork, knife) or any
other sharp objects.
7. If your sandwich is not brown enough, repeat the operation
once again. Watch the toaster closely to avoid bread burning.
8. To switch the toaster off just unplug.
MAINTENANCE AND
CLEANING
