SYSTEM SETUP

MORE SETUP FUNCTIONS

Back on the main MULTI MACHINE SETUP page, pressing the MORE (F6) key will take you to a
second page of options:

SAVE SETTINGS

Pressing SAVE (F1) on the second MULTI SETUP page will take you to the SAVE SYSTEM
SETTINGS page:
As the screen informs you, the system will power up according to the settings you save now. If you
wish, you may also reset the system settings to the default settings contained in the operating
system by pressing ROM DEFAULT (F5/F6).
There are two kinds of settings stored in the system. The first are machine settings relating to the
current setup of each machine in the system. For example, tracks selected for playback, editing
and/or record, the sample rate, external timecode selection, input routing, etc.. These settings are
stored in the flash memory of each individual machine connected to the system.
The second group of settings relate to the configuration of the RE32 itself. For example, the track
zoom selection, LCD contrast and VGA display options. These settings are stored in the flash
memory of the RE32 itself.
Pressing EXECUTE will save all settings parameters in the system (including each machine's own
settings as well as those for the RE32). Pressing RE32 ONLY (F1/F2) will save just the local
settings relating to the RE32.

LOAD SETTINGS

Pressing LOAD (F2) on the second MULTI SETUP page takes you to the LOAD SYSTEM
SETTINGS page:
Pressing EXECUTE will replace the current system settings with those stored in the flash ROM of
each device, effectively returning the system to its power-up state.
