To stop and start the

6. Press and hold the center of each target until you hear a beep.
After you press the final target, a message appears, and then an orientation
screen appears.
7. Orient the interactive whiteboard.
NOTE
You don't hear a beep when you press targets on the orientation screen.
Stopping and Starting the SMART Board
Service
NOTE
Don't stop and start the service unless SMART Technical Support asks you to do
so.
1. Open the Welcome Center.
2. Press the Help/Support tab.
3. Press SB Diagnostics.
The SMART Board Diagnostics dialog box appears.
4. Select Service > Stop.
5. To start the service, select Service > Start.

Removing SMART Notebook

SMART Technical Support might ask you to remove SMART Notebook before you
install a new version of the software.
NOTE
If you want to remove SMART Notebook, you must have root access.
1. Launch Manage 3rd party software. This is usually in the System sub-menu.
2. Select Notebook Software, press Remove, and then enter the root password.
3. Select SMART Board Drivers, press Remove, and then enter the root password.
