Chapter 2 Configuration

Port Trunking

These settings are used to configure port trunking.

Parameter
LACP
• The maximum number of ports where port trunking can be set is shown below.

• The numbers of groups that can be created are one group for LACP and four groups for trunking,
and a maximum total of four groups.
• After a trunk is created, Edit or Delete to edit or remove a trunk group.
• If configuring a trunk group by LACP, the opposite switch can be configured by both the LACP
Active and Passive settings.
Meaning
Set trunking mode and the trunk members.
Disable:
This disables LACP.
Enable:
This attempts autonegotiation by sending LACP packets.
Manual:
This is for manually configuring trunking. After you select this item,
select the ports that are the trunk members. LACP packets are not
sent or received.
