Remote starting diagnostics
When the remote start function is activated and the 2-way remote emits an er-
ror tone, you can determine the cause of the no-start situation by counting the
number of parking light flashes from the vehicle.

Brake wire is active
Hoodpin wire is active
Manual transmission mode is enabled and not
initialized.
Neutral safety wire has no ground or the neutral safety
switch is Off.
