This section explains how to install the chassis on a desktop. To install
the chassis in a rack, refer to
For desktop installation, perform the following procedure:
1. Unpack all the items from the shipping container and store the
packaging material in a safe location.
Note
Keep the shipping material. You must use the original shipping
material if you need to return the chassis to Allied Telesyn.
2. Place the chassis down on a level, secure surface.
The chassis is equipped with four protective rubber feet. This allows
the chassis to be placed on many types of surfaces.
