Your network's firewall could interfere with the VMC 1000 and the RSS 2000's
ability to share data using certain ports. The following table explains
important port requirements you should observe when setting up data
sharing between the VMC 1000 and the RSS 2000.

IP Resolution
VMC 1000 DNS/IP
must be resolved
DNS/IP must be
resolved.
Ports 5004 and
5005 are not
mandatory. They
are needed for
UDP. If not open,
use port 554 for
TCP.
The VMC 1000
must be able to
resolve the RSS
2000 address.
