Rinsing agent

If rinsing agent is required the
rinsing agent reservoir in the
machine will first need to be
activated by a Miele Service
technician.
Rinsing agent helps water run off items
so that no droplets are left behind and
improves drying results. However,
because rinsing agent is dispensed
during the final rinse some of its
ingredients will remain on the surfaces
of your laboratory glassware etc. It
should therefore only be used if it does
not have an adverse effect on the
application the glassware or utensils
are being used for.
If used, it is poured into the rinsing
agent reservoir in the door and the
amount set is then automatically
dispensed during the final rinse.
The rinsing agent reservoir holds
approx. 180 ml.

Inadvertently filling the rinsing
agent reservoir with cleaning agent
(including liquid cleaning agent) will
damage the reservoir.
Make sure you use a rinsing agent
which is suitable for use in washer
disinfectors.

^ The reservoir must be filled with
rinsing agent when the H indicator
light comes on.
There is also a level indicator for the
rinsing agent reservoir on the inside
of the door (see illustration).
^ Open the door fully.
^ Undo the screw cap.
