Installing the riser card with a DVI port
To install a riser card with a DVI port, you first have to remove the pre-stamped slot cover on the rear
panel of the casing.
►
Open the casing (see "Opening the casing").
►
Insert a screwdriver into the opening (a) and break out the pre-stamped installation opening by
moving it backwards and forwards (1).
►
Remove the front USB audio interface on the device front panel by loosening the screw (2) and
then removing the cage (3).
►
Remove the ventilation duct (4) connector from the casing.
►
Unplug the power supply cable of the processor fan from the main board.
►
Press down the mainboard bracket (spring) located on the casing bottom on the right-hand
edge of the mainboard and push the mainboard to the front of the casing.

Connect the power supply cable of the processor fan to the connector on the mainboard. See
technical manual for the mainboard.

Reinstall the ventilation duct in the casing.

When pushing back the mainboard, make sure
that you guide the DVI connection exactly
through the prepared opening in the casing rear
panel.

Place the riser card onto the provided slot
on the main board and press until it
engages.
Slide the main board back toward the
casing rear panel into its original position
until the main board spring catch latches
up and secures the main board.
