PARENTAL: Parental control settings

This option enables an age restriction to be placed on specific discs (Films, film content). The age restriction can be
activated provided that the disc supports the parental control function. The parental control functions in a similar
way to the traditional age restriction in the cinema. This option helps your family to protect children from undesir-
able content (e.g. scenes of violence or of a sexual nature).
To set the parental control level:
1. Enter the valid password or the default (universal) password 138900 to unlock the system (for details see chap-
ter on "PASSWORD SETUP PAGE: Password Settings").
2. You can then select the parental control level using the navigation buttons ▲ or ▼.
3. The following parental control levels are available:
• 1. KID SAFE (for children)
• 2. G
• 3. PG
• 4. PGB
• 5. PGR
• 6. R
• 7. NC 17
• 8. ADULT (Adults only).
4. Press PLAY/ENTER, to activate the selected parental control level.
5. The user must enter the valid password each time a disc with blocked content needs to be played, otherwise it
will not play.
