COAXIAL or OPTICAL output: Digital Amplifier conncetion

In order to connect the DVD device to a digital amplifier you can either use the coaxial output COAXIAL or the
optical output OPTICAL.
In both cases you must select the correct option in the digital audio output DIGITAL AUDIO SETUP, if you want to
play a disc in DOLBY or MPEG Format.
To set an option for the digital audio output:
1. Whilst the disc is playing or after you have stopped play by pressing the STOP button, press the SETUP button
on the remote to open the Setup menu.
2. Using the navigation button ► select the second icon AUDIO SETUP in the top menu bar and press the PLAY/
ENTER button to display the menu items.
3. Using the navigation button ▼ select the menu item DIGITAL AUDIO SETUP.
4. Then the Navigation button ►, to select the sub-item DIGITAL OUTPUT.
5. Press the Navigation button ► again, to change the options.
6. Then select the option ALL with the Navigation buttons ▼ or ▲.
• Select the Option SPDIF/PCM if the device is connected to a 2-channel-Stereo-digital amplifier.
7. Press the PLAY/ENTER button to activate the setting.
8. Press the SETUP button, to exit the setting menu.
