User Manual and Safety Advice

1. Before using the machine, please read this user manual carefully.
2. Keep the user manual in a safe place for future reference.
3. Read and follow all safety advice on the machine and in the user manual.
4. The user manual is designed to help the user to operate the machine correctly.
5. This product has been designed and manufactured to guarantee maximum safety of the user.

Power supply and mains connection

1. The machine may only be connected to the power supply stated in
this user manual or on the name plate, otherwise the machine may be
damaged beyond repair. The guarantee does not cover damage which
may arise from connection to the wrong power supply. If you are not
sure of the voltage of your mains supply, seek advice from a specialist
dealer or your power utility.
2. The mains plug serves as a circuit breaker to interrupt the power supply. Therefore the mains plug must be
operative and accessible at all times.
3. Never try to repair the mains plug yourself. Only use the supplied mains plug.
4. If the mains plug is connected to the wall socket the machine is connected to the power supply, even if you
have switched off the machine itself with the POWER button.
5. CAUTION! If you do not use the machine for long periods of time,
remove the disc from the disc tray and disconnect the mains plug from
the plug socket. When disconnecting hold the plug, never pull directly
on the cable.
6. Never touch the plug cable with wet hands.
The lightning flash symbol in an equilateral
triangle warns the user of uninsulated parts in
the device carrying "high voltages". These volt-
ages may be high enough to constitute a risk of
electric shock.
The exclamation mark in an equilateral triangle,
alerts the user to important operating and
maintenance instructions in the technical docu-
mentation such as in this user manual. If these
instructions are not followed, this may lead to
personal injury or damage to the device.
