Create Album/Smart Albums

You can sort video files in the Library by folders based on a certain theme. There are two types of folders:
Album and Smart Album.
Features of Albums
With an Album/Smart Album, you can group video files based on a certain theme in the Library screen.
This will help you to use video files in the following cases:

Playing back only your favorite videos.
•
Writing a disc of videos recorded on a certain date.
Albums/Smart Albums also have following features:
•
You can create multiple Albums so that you can have Albums of various themes.
•
One video file can belong to multiple Albums at the same time.
•
You can save space on the computer because Albums do not duplicate files, but only sort them.
Differences between Albums and Smart Albums
To create an Album, you need to sort video files manually. To create a Smart Album, select the sorting
criteria and the corresponding video files will be collected automatically.

Album
Album is a collection of video files you like, just as a photo album. For example, if you create an Album
"Birthday party", you can manually select and add video files related to the birthday party to that Album.
Then, you can play back the video files in sequence when you want to watch the birthday party videos.

Smart Album
Smart Albums collect video files automatically, taking advantage of electronic data. When you set the rules
for the Smart Album, video files that match the criteria are collected automatically. For example, if you create
a Smart Album with the criteria "10th to 12th April, 2010", all video files recorded on the specified dates are
added automatically.
