Cannot enter standby mode now
- The camcorder cannot enter standby mode if the remaining battery charge is too low. Charge
or replace the battery pack (0 23).
Cannot play back
- There is a problem with the memory. If this message appears often without apparent reason,
contact a Canon Service Center.
Cannot play back Cannot access the built-in memory
- There is a problem with the built-in memory. Save your recordings (0 128) and initialize the
built-in memory using the [Complete Initialization] option (0 40). If the problem persists,
contact a Canon Service Center.
Cannot play back Check the memory card
- There is a problem with the memory card. Save your recordings (0 128) and initialize the
memory card using the [Complete Initialization] option (0 40). If the problem persists, use a
different memory card.
Cannot play the movies in the built-in memory Initialize only using the
camcorder
- The camcorder's built-in memory was initialized using a computer. Initialize the built-in mem-

- Movies cannot be played back from a 64 MB or smaller memory card. Use a recommended
memory card (0 36).
