Scene recorded using another device. Cannot divide the scene.
- Scenes recorded using another device cannot be divided with this camcorder.
Select the desired scene number
- A number of scenes have the same recording date but different file control information. This
can occur for example when you edit photos and write the files back to the camcorder. Select
a number to display the corresponding group of scenes.
Some B photos could not be deleted
- Protected photos (B) cannot be deleted. Remove the protection (0 115).
Some scenes could not be added to the playlist.
- You may not be able to add to the playlist scenes recorded using another device.
- The playlist can contain a maximum of 999 scenes. If the playlist includes scenes recorded in
MXP or FXP mode, the maximum number of scenes in the playlist may be less than 999.
Delete some scenes from the playlist (0 95).
Some scenes could not be converted
- Among the scenes selected for conversion to SD there are scenes recorded with another
device using 24p frame rate. When converting scenes to SD, leave out scenes recorded using
another device.
Some scenes could not be deleted
- Movies that were protected/edited with other devices cannot be deleted with this camcorder.
Some scenes were recorded using another device and cannot be copied.
- Scenes that were not recorded with this camcorder cannot be copied to the memory card.
Task in progress. Do not disconnect the power source.
- The camcorder is updating the memory. Wait until the operation ends and do not disconnect
the compact power adapter or remove the battery pack.
The camcorder is set to photo mode
- You pressed g while recording photos (
or mode to record movies.
The lens cover is not fully open. Turn the camcorder off, then on again.
- The lens cover did not open fully. Turn the camcorder off, then on again. If this does not solve
the problem, consult a Canon Service Center.
This memory card contains scenes. Delete all scenes to use relay recording.
- Save your movies (0 128) if necessary, and delete all the movies from the memory card
(0 56).
This photo cannot be displayed
- You may not be able to display photos taken with other devices or image files created or
edited on a computer.
This B photo could not be deleted
- Protected photos (B) cannot be deleted. Remove the protection (0 115).
