Note: • If you see some sparks flashing in the ventilation slots, do not panic this is normal and will not damage the machine. • Be certain the sliding mitre saw is mounted or placed on a level, firm work surface before using. A level and firm work surface can reduce the risk of the sliding mitre saw becoming unstable.

Note: Blade securing bolt has a left hand thread. Remove the blade, Fig31 (we recommend the use of a stout glove for this). Clean any saw dust and debris from the arbor and saw blade securing flanges. To refit the blade follow the above procedure in reverse order.
