Multiple Bay Battery Charger
Panasonic Laptop Batteries
The LIND battery charger is designed for charging the battery pack for Panasonic
Toughbooks. The battery charger consists of one, three or five identical charging bays
that are mounted together and powered from a single power source. The wattage of
the input adapter must be properly selected to match the requirements of the battery
chargers. A 3 or 5 bay battery charger may require a 120 watt adapter, while a 1 bay
charger only requires a 40 watt adapter. Use the chart on page 2 to determine the correct
AC power adapter to use if it has not been provided with the battery charger.
Before using the battery charger, read these operating instructions.
Caution:
• Install or remove the battery on a flat stable surface.
• Remove the battery before transporting the battery charger. The battery
pack may fall out while the charger is being carried.
• Do not touch the battery charger connectors as it can damage or transfer
dust to the connectors and cause malfunction.
• Do not use an AC adapter other than the one included with the battery
charger. If an AC adapter is not included with the charger, choose the correct
adapter to use from the table on page 2 or an equivalent UL Listed one.
• Refer to the "Operating Instructions" that came with the computer for
information on proper handling of the AC adapter.
