Ice warning
If the outside temperature drops to approx.
+36, a signal is heard and a message appears.
Please note that ice may also occur on the
roads at temperatures above +36, for
example on bridges or in
Range
This display indicates how far the car can prob-
ably be driven on the fuel remaining in the tank.
It is calculated on the basis the way the car has
been driven over the past 30 km (20 miles).
If the range is below 50 km (30 miles),
refuel the car, otherwise the engine's
functions are not assured and damage may
occur.<

Average fuel consumption

The average fuel consumption is calculated for
the period since the engine was last started.
You can have the average fuel consumption for
two different distances displayed on the control
display, see Displays on the control display or
Journey computer further below.
To reset the average consumption: press the
BC button on the flashing turn indicator lever for
approx. 2 seconds.
