3. Select "Address input" and press the con-
troller.
The system in addition supports you with the
following special features:
> If you do not enter a street name, you will be
guided to the centre of the town or city.
> You can skip input of the country, town or
city if you wish to retain previous inputs.
The commands for the voice input system
fer from the individual menu items on the con-
trol display for destination input. You should
therefore have the available spoken commands
read out, see page 20.
Selecting country
1. Select "Country" or the country displayed
and press the controller.
The list of available countries is displayed.
2. Select destination country and press the
controller.
With the Professional navigation system,
"Europa" can also be selected.
In order to start route guidance, at least the
town/city or its postcode must be entered.

Entering destination

1. Select "City" or the town/city displayed and
press the controller.
2. Select the initial letter and press the con-
troller.
A list of all places starting with that letter is
shown on the control display.
3. Enter more letters if necessary.
The list is gradually narrowed down with
every subsequent letter that you enter.

and press the controller.
> To delete all numbers or letters:
Move the controller to the right to select
and press the controller for longer.
4. Move the controller back if necessary to
select the town/city from the list and press
the controller.
