Battery-Backed Power Supply Safety The equipment and this manual use symbols used to warn of Hazard Symbols hazards. The symbols are explained below. Hazard Symbols Warnings and Cautions The exclamation point within the triangle is a warning sign alerting you of important instructions in the instrument’s technical reference manual. - Page 9 AC power failure. When power is restored, an internal charger recharges the batteries. Note Use the Battery-Backed Power Supply only as an AC Power Pack with short-term battery backup. It is not intended as a substitute for an Isco Nickel-Cadmium Battery. Due to space limitations, the battery inside has only one fourth of the capac- ity of the standard Nickel-Cadmium Battery.
