Instant Messaging

You can use your IP Phone 2007 to exchange text messages with other users.

Sending an instant message

To access the Send IM option, tap the Srvcs soft key, use the Up/Down navigation
keys to scroll and select 2. Send IM, and tap the Select soft key. See

Respond to an instant message

When you receive a text message, the sender's name appears on your display with
the text of the message, and the soft keys Detail and Cancel become available.
