Bluetooth Pairing
KDC does not only read barcodes independently, but also when it is connected to PC, PDA, or
smart phones. Among different KDC models, particularly, KDC400 is designed to read barcodes
only when it is connected to smart phones or PDA since it does not have screen to show barcode
data.
You have to conduct pairing between your KDC and smart phone through Bluetooth only once.
Unless there are changes in Bluetooth settings, your smart phone will always recognize your KDC
that has already been paired. When you change Bluetooth settings, you need to go through
pairing process for your KDC again.
2.1.1 Preparing for Pairing
1.
In the case of KDC400, turn on the power first.
2.
Set a Bluetooth device type mode. There are two ways to set a Bluetooth device type mode.
