Unnecessary service calls may be expensive, frustrating, and time-consuming. Before you call for service, please review the Problem
Solution Guide below.
NOTE:
See Solutions to Common Baking problems on page 13 for problems with cooking food.
problem:
Nothing works
Oven will not heat
No time is displayed or the time is
incorrect
Oven does not self-clean
Both oven lights will not work.
(NOTE: if only one light is not working, the
bulb is probably burned out)
Door will not open.

Getting help

Before obtaining service, please review the problem Solution
Guide above. If you have performed the checks in the Problem
Solution Guide and the problem has not yet been remedied, call
your local authorized Dacor
provide the name and telephone number of the nearest service
company. Prior to requesting service, it is helpful to be familiar with
the warranty terms and conditions listed in the warranty section of
this manual.
Please enter the information requested in the spaces provided
below. This information will be required in the unlikely event that a
service call becomes necessary:

Lock-out feature is on ("lOCKED"

Oven's sleep feature is on
Oven's Sabbath feature turned on

Door not shut tight
Oven set for delay timed cleaning
Double ovens only: Other oven is on.
Oven light disabled
Oven is in the self-clean cycle
Ovens Sabbath feature is enabled
Light bulbs burned out

What to do:
Have an electrician connect the oven to a
properly wired electrical connection
Press and hold CANCEl/SECURE key for
5 seconds
Press any control panel key or open the
oven door to cause the display to light up
Press CANCEl/SECURE
Press CANCEl/SECURE, then follow the
Operating Your Oven – The Basics section
on page 8
Oven will turn on automatically at preset
time. Press "CANCEl/SECURE" to return
to normal operation
See Clock section on page 4
Press any control panel key or open the
oven door to cause the display to light up
See Enable/Disable the Clock on page 5
Check for obstructions. Close door tightly
Oven will start to self-clean at preset time.
Press CANCEl/SECURE to return to
normal operation
Turn off other oven.
See Oven Lights section on page 7
Wait for completion of self-clean cycle
Press CANCEl/SECURE
See Replacing the Light Bulbs on page 27
Check display. If display indicates "SElf-
ClEAN", wait for display to indicate "Door
Unlocked" to open door
