Power Considerations
5.1

System Power

The considerations presented in the ensuing chapters must be taken into account by system
integrators when specifying the CP305 system environment.
5.1.1

CP305 Baseboard

The CP305 baseboard itself has been designed for optimal power input and distribution. Still it
is necessary to observe certain criteria essential for application stability and reliability.
The table below indicates the absolute maximum input voltage ratings that must not be exceed-
ed. Power supplies to be used with the CP305 should be carefully tested to ensure compliance
with these ratings.

exceeded. Failure to comply with the above may result in damage to your

the prescribed limits.
