INTERFERENCE

All cordless telephones are radio transmitters and receivers and such are subject to interference from a
wide range of sources
Re-setting the base unit can improve reception substantially. An upstairs room is usually the best
location.
Electronic equipment like TV~, computers, etc. emit strong electronic magnetic fields which can affect
the radio signals. Try not to locate your DCT 2200 next to this type of equipment and ensure that the
power line cords are separated from the electrical units
FAULT FINDINGS
THE IN-USE LINE INDICATOR ON THE BASE UNIT IS FLASHING
-There is new phone number in the caller display memory.
AN INCOMING NUMBERS IS NOT VISIBLE ON THE DISPLAY
- Have you subscribed to the caller display service?
- Is the phone connected to a PABX? Caller display is not available when connected to a PABX
THE TELEPHONE DOES NOT WORK

Is the power adaptor connected correctly?

Is the line cord connected correctly?

Are the batteries in the handset charged?

Connect a different telephone to the same wall socket. If the other telephone does not work,
contact your Network operator.

Please disconnect the power adaptor and re-connect again and you should hear a beep tone from
your base.
