Possible Causes
Computer is in Caps

Solution
Enable Caps Lock detect setting
of the scanner to detect whether
the PC is operating in Caps Lock.
Try operating the scanner in Alt
mode.
Check to make sure that the baud
rate and parity of the scanner and
the communication port match
and the program is looking for
"RS-232" data.
