Hi. I have a bike which got unplugged from the t/charger causing a flat battery. The battery for the bike is ok now but the alarm initially kept going off then set,or so it seems. The alarm is not showing arming or disarming now. My bike can be started and the flashy light on the fob is working. Pls help?

To troubleshoot the Datatool S4 alarm system that is not showing arming or disarming after a flat battery:
1. Check the Fuses – Ensure all motorcycle fuses, including the alarm fuse, are intact. 2. Reset the Alarm – Disconnect the alarm system and reconnect it to reset. 3. Check the Wiring – Ensure all alarm connections are secure and no wires are damaged. 4. Use a Battery Conditioner – If the battery was disconnected, using a Datatool battery conditioner can help maintain the charge. 5. Check Ignition Sense – If the alarm does not respond even with ignition ON, verify that the alarm unit is receiving ignition sense. 6. Verify Kill Switch Position – Ensure the kill switch is in the ON position. 7. Reinstall Indicators Properly – If indicators were changed, ensure correct wiring to avoid alarm malfunction.
If the issue persists, contact your dealer for further assistance.
