Registering the Unit's Name

Your name or company's name must be registered as the unit's name.
When you send a document, the recipient's machine displays or prints your name
or company's name as the sender's information on the recording paper.
Some fax models also display sender's information on the display during
transmission.

Enter the Additional Functions menu and open the <USER
SETTINGS> menu.
For details about the procedures above, refer to steps 1 to 3 in "Selecting the
Type of Telephone Line," on p. 1-24.

Enter the unit's name using the numeric keys, and press [OK].

You can enter up to 24 characters for the unit's name.
