Solutions
Insert the power cord's plug securely into the outlet.
The power is automatically turned off after approx 30 minutes have elapsed in
the stop mode (auto power-off feature). Turn power back on.
• Ensure that the disc is installed with the label side facing up.
• This player plays only DVDs, Audio CDs, CD-R (MP3) CDs and Video CDs.
• The disc is dirty. Clean it.
• Condensation has formed. Allow player to dry out.
• Ensure that the equipment is connected properly.
• Turn on the TV's power.
• Ensure that the input setting for the TV is correct.
It is normal for some distortion to appear while scanning.
• Ensure that the equipment is connected properly.
• Ensure that the input settings and the volume adjustment for the TV
and/or receiver are correct.
• No sound is heard during still, frame advance, or slow-motion play.
• The batteries in the remote may need replacing.
• Operate the remote control closer to the DVD player.
• Remove any obstacles between the remote and the DVD player or
other component.
• Remove batteries and hold down one or more buttons for 60 seconds
to drain the microprocessor inside the remote to reset it.
Reinstall batteries and try remote again. You may need to reprogram it.
• The feature or action cannot be completed at this time because:
1. The DVD's software restricts it.
2. The DVD software doesn't support the feature (e.g., angles).
3. The feature is not available at the moment.
4. You've requested a title or chapter number or search time that is
out of range
• The DTS option is selected but your receiver has no DTS decoder, or you
don't have a receiver connected.
