Dimming the Front Panel Display

Use this feature to adjust the brightness of the player's front panel display.

Changing the Black Level

The Black Level setting can be changed to lighten the picture when it appears too dark. This
allows you to change the brightness of the picture without adjusting your television.
The black level is measured by IRE level. Complete black is 0 IRE while pure white is 100 IRE. The
Light setting (which is a black level of 7.5 IRE) adds light to improve a too-dark picture.
