5 SOFTWARE INTERFACE

The NAVI-XS POI evaluation receiver is capable of outputting data in the NMEA-0183
format as defined by the National Marine Electronics Association (NMEA), Standard
for Interfacing Marine Electronic Devices, January 1, 1997.

5.1 NMEA output messages

The table below shows all NMEA output messages supported by NAVI-XS POI as well
as a brief description of each output message.

GLL
GSA GPS receiver operating mode, satellites used in the position solution and DOP values.
GSV The number of GPS satellites in view satellite ID numbers, elevation, azimuth and SNR values.
