Preview Function

You can check the image of the scanned document before copying, scanning, or
transmitting it by fax. When you have specified scanning settings, the result of those
settings can also be checked in advance. Checking the scanned document enables you to
prevent mistakes in settings.

Displaying the Preview Screen

This is an example of using the preview function while making a copy. The preview
function can also be used when using the scan function or fax function.

Press [Preview] to enable the preview function.
Enable this function to check the preview, or disable it if you do not want to check a preview.

Load the documents and specify the various settings.

Press <Start>.
• The first page of the documents is scanned, and the preview screen is displayed.
• When a multiple page document is scanned using the ADF, a preview is displayed for each
page that is scanned.
