The error codes that can be reported in bytes 16 and 17 are listed in Chapter 10 of the Hardware
Integration Guide, Volume 1 of the HP Ultrium Technical Reference Manual.
Explanation
FC interface only:
There is only space for requests from
32 initiators to register, using PERSISTENT RESERVE OUT
commands.
There is insufficient space in the Host Attribute area in
MAM to fit the attribute that need to be written.
Failure Prediction thresholds have been exceeded
indicating that a failure may occur soon.
A Mode Select command has been used to test for the
Failure Prediction system.
The drive has detected that a cleaning operation is
advisable to maintain good operation.
The data transferred to the drive during a firmware
upgrade is corrupt or incompatible with the drive
hardware.
