Function

Node
name
differently in a Server Node
Provide name for Node. The
driver uses the Node name to
establish a connection with the
Server if the Node_ID is non-
zero.
See Section 6.3 for additional
information.
The parameter is used to
control how the driver logs onto
the PLC. Read the notes above
(Node_Name)
Specify protocol used
In a number of FieldServer
configurations it is common to
omit the port when defining a
Server Node this cannot be
done with the SNP protocol
unless the FieldServer is to be
used to emulate only one Node
and is not polling any other
SNP devices.
