9 - INSTALLATION - Split venting system

WARNING!!! Carefully follow the
installation steps below for the
assembling the split pipe venting
system (elbows and extensions),
as illustrated in fi gure 22. it is
necessary to properly insert the
male side onto the female side
and mechanically secure them by
using the proper clamps. Improper
venting can result in excessive
levels of carbon monoxide or a fi re,
which can result in severe personal
injury or death!

joints must be joined and sealed in
accordance with the vent system
manufacturer's instructions.
Mechanically secure each joint with
the supplied clamps as shown in
fi gure 22. Follow this procedure:
