To remove the processor:

Prepare the computer for disassembly (see

Remove the right and left rear panels (see

Remove the rear main frame (see

Remove the system board shield (see

Remove the fan sink (see

Rotate the locking lever to its full open position (1).

Lift the processor cover (2).
12.
Carefully lift the processor from the socket (3).
CAUTION:
handling them could cause irreparable damage. Once pins are damaged it may be necessary to
replace the system board.
CAUTION:
prevent damage to the processor's solder connections.
