either oven cooking or self-cleaning. See
page 15 for instructions on delaying the
start of a clean cycle.
IMMEDIATE START:
Oven turns on immediately and auto-
matically turns off at a preset time.
NOTES:
If more than 30 seconds elapse
between pressing the Broil pad
and number pad, the oven is not
set and the display will return to
the previous display.
HI broil is used for most broiling.
Use LO or a lower broil tempera-
ture when broiling longer cooking
foods or thin pieces of food. The
lower temperature allows food to
cook to the well done stage with-
out excessive browning.
Never cover broiler pan insert
with aluminum foil. This prevents
fat from draining to the pan below.
Expect broil times to increase and
browning to be slightly lighter if
appliance is installed on a 208
volt circuit.
NOTES:
Highly perishable foods such as
dairy products, pork, poultry or
seafood are not recommended for
delayed cook operations.
Clock controlled baking is not rec-
ommended for baked items that
require a preheated oven, such as
cakes, cookies and breads.
The clock must be functioning
and correctly set.
