CHECKING THE VALVE TIMING
Checking the timing (continued).
Suspend the engine, using a workshop hoist.
Remove the engine support (2) and the timing cover (1).
Peg the camshaft pulleys, using tool [1].
NOTE: The pegs [1] should go in without forcing.
WARNING: If the pegs go in only with difficulty, repeat the operation for fitting and tensioning
the timing belt (see corresponding operation) .
Complete the refitting.
