The Tape Drive Properties window appears:
Under Device Usage, click the down arrow, and select Do not use this device (disable).
Click OK. The Tape Drive Properties window closes, and the icon for the device in the right
pane of Computer Management should now have
superimposed upon it:
. The tape drive is now disabled.
