Description
If the module is in the Online status but in the Out of Service-Unas-
signed state, it will not provide service.
• Offline/Allow: This setting indicates that the unit is offline. If the
online unit switches over per a fault condition, this unit is
allowed to switch back to the original online unit upon a
subsequent fault condition.
• Offline/Inhibit: This setting indicates that the unit is offline. As
with the Offline/Allow status, the unit can become the online
unit, but is inhibited from switching back again upon a
subsequent fault condition.
This field displays the active service state of the DS3-PSM in
general, not the service mode of any of the ports under the
Provisioning menu.
This field displays the status of DS3 transmit data stream. There
are two transmit indicators:
• Normal: This indicates that data transmission is normal.
• TLOS: This indicates a DS3 Transmit Signal failure.
This field displays the status of DS3 receive data stream. There are
six transmit indicators:
• Normal: This indicates that data reception from the network is
normal.
• LOS: This indicates a Loss Of Signal condition. No data is being
received from the network.
• OOF: This indicates that Out Of Frame data is being received
from the network.
• IDLE: This indicates that an idle code is being received from the
network.
• AIS: This indicates that an Alarm Indication Signal (Blue Alarm)
is being received from the network.
• RAI: This indicates that a Remote Alarm Indication (Yellow
Alarm) is being received from the network.
This field displays the DS3 line code setting (as B3ZS) which is
hardcoded and cannot be changed.
This field displays the status of DS3 Cell Delineation received in the
DS3 signal as either True or False.
This field displays Far End Alarm Channel (FEAC) alarms if
present.
