8.1.3. WLAN

This menu is for setting of wireless connection with the devices which support Wi-Fi
technology. Before setting you should adjust the parameters of wireless connection using cable
connection. After finishing, you will have an opportunity to use wireless connection as well as
wired.
To start setting the wireless connection, allow this type of connection by selecting [Enable].
After that, the parameters of Wi-Fi connection are available for editing (Pic. 8.3).
NOTE:
The present user manual describes the menus of the camera web-interface and gives general information
about the settings you can change through it. For details about IP-camera wireless connection, please, see
the Installation User Manual.
MAC address: displays the current MAC address of camera wireless adapter.
IP address: displays the current IP address of camera for wireless connection.
Status of wireless networks: displays a list of identified wireless devices. The devices,
which are connected, have a check mark on their left. The list provides the following information;
ESSID: displays a name of wireless network (or Ad hoc device). It is an identifier of wireless
network.
