4.5 Replacing the management blade battery
To allow permanent saving of the system information, a lithium battery is
installed, which supplies the CMOS memory of the management blade with
power. You can check the battery voltage at any time via the Web interface of
the management blade, see the "PRIMERGY BX900 Blade Server Systems
ServerView Management Blade S1 User Interface Description" manual. If the
battery charge is too low or the battery is empty, a corresponding error message
is written to the error log file of the management blade. In this case, you must
replace the lithium battery.

CAUTION!
Observe the safety notes and the information on handling batteries in
the section
Incorrect replacement of batteries may result in a risk of explosion.
The batteries must be replaced with an identical battery or with a
battery type recommended by the manufacturer.
Make sure you insert the battery correctly. The positive pole must
face upwards.
