NOTE:
This feature is available only if your telephone system is equipped with an
Axxess Voice Processing Unit (voice mail).
If you voice mailbox is programmed correctly, you can screen calls that are trans-
ferred from voice mail. This allows you to accept and/or refuse specific calls.
Depending on the Transfer Method you use, calls from voice mail may be unan-
nounced, announce only, or screened calls (see

SING THE
IRECTORIES
With directories, you can use your phone keypad to find names and numbers. You can
then use the directory information to make calls, access features, or leave voice mail
messages.

Phone Directory

The phone directory contains a list of the extension numbers, System Speed-Dial
numbers, feature codes, and their associated names. To search for an item, you can
enter the full or partial name. The system will then find the closest match. Once the
correct match is displayed on your phone, you can dial the number or press a key to
access that extension or feature.
