Battery Installation - Power Wheels L2170 Owner's Manual

IMPORTANT! Use only a Power Wheels
rechargeable battery with built-in thermal fuse. Use of any other
battery will damage your vehicle. Make sure that you charge the
battery for at least 18 hours using the enclosed Power Wheels
12 volt charger before operating your vehicle for the first time.
Charge the battery for at least 14 hours after each use of the vehicle.
Never charge the battery longer than 30 hours. Failure to follow these
instructions may damage your battery and will void your warranty.

• Pull the hood straps down and then out to unfasten them from the
button on each side of the vehicle.
• Lift the hood open.

• Plug the motor harness connector into the battery.

• Pull the battery retainer back.
• Place the battery in the battery compartment. Make sure the
battery retainer slides over the top of the battery.
• Lift and lower the hood closed. Pull the hood strap down and over
the button on each side of the front end of the vehicle.
