Fan Control

Outline
Fan control is carried out with the following conditions present:
1. Fan ON control for electric component cooling fan
2. Fan control when defrosting
3. Fan OFF delay when stopped
4. ON/OFF control when cooling operation
5. Fan control when the number of heated rooms decreases
6. Fan control when forced operation
7. Fan control in indoor / outdoor quiet operation
8. Fan control for pressure difference upkeep

Fan control when the number of heating room decreases (Only for Heat Pump Model)
When the outdoor air temperature is more than 50°F, the fan must be turned OFF for 30 seconds.

Outline In order to obtain the dependability of the compressor, the compressor must be stopped according
to the conditions of the temperature of the outdoor air and outdoor heat exchanger.

Heat Pump Model
Compressor operation turns OFF under the conditions that the system is in cooling operation and
outdoor air temperature is below 14°F.

Fan OFF delay for 60 seconds must be made when the compressor is stopped.
When the outdoor air temperature is less than 99°F, the fan tap must be set to L.
When the outdoor air temperature is more than 39°F, the fan tap must be turned to L (only for
heat pump model).
